Where We’re Staying
Tucked into the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré blends classic Parisian charm with a refined, contemporary feel. Surrounded by iconic cafés, boutiques, galleries, and the quiet elegance of the Left Bank, the hotel offers the perfect home base for experiencing Paris beyond the surface.
Thoughtfully designed with rich textures, warm tones, and understated luxury, the property captures the feeling of staying in a stylish Parisian residence rather than a traditional hotel. It was recently renovated in 2024. Its intimate atmosphere, exceptional location, and timeless character align beautifully with the spirit of the Compass Collective Paris experience.
What We’re Doing in Paris
Paris at the start of the holiday season is pure magic. For four nights, we will settle into Saint-Germain-des-Prés at Le Grand Hôtel Cayré, our elegant Left Bank home for the journey.
From there, we will experience Paris through a more intimate lens: a privately guided exploration focused on the influence and legacy of French women, a curated local wine experience, and a deeper look into the rhythm and culture of Parisian markets.
Dining throughout the trip has been thoughtfully selected to reflect different sides of the city, from classic Parisian brasseries to elevated culinary experiences. Each evening is designed with its own atmosphere, flavor, and story, allowing guests to experience Paris not as tourists, but through the feeling of living well within the city.

Meet Your Host
Deirdre
Hi, I’m Deirdre, founder of Bespoke Compass Travel and your host for this Paris Edition of the Compass Collective.
Paris has long been one of the places that has shaped me most personally. I’ve returned to the city again and again over the years, not just for its beauty, but for the feeling it gives me.
This experience was created from that personal connection to the city. I wanted to share the Paris I’ve come to love over countless visits. A blend of iconic beauty and local charm, thoughtful hotels, incredible food and wine, hidden corners, and the small moments that make you feel connected to a place rather than simply passing through it.
My hope is that this journey feels immersive, inspiring, and deeply personal, the kind of trip that stays with you long after you return home.
